How To Make Money On Stash
Morning y'all! In my constant pursuit of pairing down, I offer you up today a handful of great personal finance books for your choosing. This has been the hardest part of my purging so far, but it just has to be done. No point in keeping around these killer books as merely eye candy right? They need to get out in the world and enjoyed!
As my bff Benjamin Franklin says,
"An investment in knowledge pays the best interest."
And combined, these books sure pack a wallop. Along with next Friday's stash we'll be dumping as well… I love 'em all, but I love you guys even more (awwwwww).
Here are today's 4 books up for grabs:
(Links and description via Amazon…)
#1) The Snowball: Warren Buffett and the Business of Life by Alice Schroeder
— "The legendary Omaha investor has never written a memoir, but now he has allowed one writer, Alice Schroeder, unprecedented access to explore directly with him and with those closest to him his work, opinions, struggles, triumphs, follies, and wisdom. The result is the personally revealing and complete biography of the man known everywhere as "The Oracle of Omaha.""
#2) The Millionaire Mind by Thomas J. Stanley –"The Millionaire Mind targets a population of millionaires who have accumulated substantial wealth and live in ways that openly demonstrate their affluence. Exploring the ideas, beliefs, and behaviors that enabled these millionaires to build and maintain their fortunes, Dr. Stanley provides a fascinating look at who America's financial elite are and how they got there."
#3) Debt Free For Life: The Finish Rich Plan for Financial Freedom by David Bach
— "In Debt Free for Life, #1 New York Times bestselling author David Bach… [gives] us the knowledge, the tools, and the mindset we need to get out of debt and achieve financial freedom— forever! Offering a revolutionary approach to personal finance that teaches you how to pay down your debt and adopt a whole new way of living – debt free. Bach unveils the Debt Wise program that empowers you to pare down your debt automatically. You'll learn how to calculate your Debt Freedom Day – the actual date you will be completely free of debt. And you'll discover that when you are debt free, you need a lot less money to live on. You can retire, even with a smaller nest egg — perhaps earlier than you expected."
#4) The Man Who Quit Money by Mark Sundeen — "In 2000, Daniel Suelo left his life savings-all thirty dollars of it-in a phone booth. He has lived without money-and with a newfound sense of freedom and security-ever since. The Man Who Quit Money is an account of how one man learned to live, sanely and happily, without earning, receiving, or spending a single cent. Suelo doesn't pay taxes, or accept food stamps or welfare. He lives in caves in the Utah canyonlands, forages wild foods and gourmet discards. He no longer even carries an I.D. Yet he manages to amply fulfill not only the basic human needs-for shelter, food, and warmth-but, to an enviable degree, the universal desires for companionship, purpose, and spiritual engagement."
